This course is for parents with children who attend Woodlands Primary. The course offers an opportunity to learn more about making easy handmade sweets and healthy alternatives in an informal and friendly environment with an experienced tutor. It will also include making gift boxes in a variety of shapes and sizes using simple craft techniques and to then make a range of easy-to-make sweets and chocolates to fill them and give as a gift. Sweets will include coconut ice, peppermint creams and chocolate truffles. Fruity kebabs and flowers will offer a healthy option. At the end of the course, learners will know more about balancing sweet treats and healthy eats into their children's diet. No experience needed.
You must attend the information and enrolment session to enrol on this course.
Learners must be aged 19 or over to be eligible for this course and have a child that attend Woodlands Primary School

If you do not meet any of the above criteria, the course is part funded by the government but you will be required to make a contribution. You can apply for a reduction to the fee if you feel it is unaffordable given your circumstances. Please contact us if you would like more information.
