The course is intended for people who do not already have a qualification in Maths and wish to gain a qualification in Maths functional skills.
You must attend the information and assessment session to enrol on this course. At the information session, you will be asked to do a short assessment of your Maths skills to check that the course is suitable for you. In some instances you may be directed to a more suitable course.
Please bring any Maths or English certificates you have to the first session.
Learners must be aged 19 or over to be eligible for this course. You would not be eligible for this course if you have already achieved a Level 2 in Maths (that is an ‘O’ level grade C or above, CSE grade 1, GCSE grade C or above, Functional Skills Level 2, Basic Skills or Skills for Life Level 2 or similar).
If you already have a maths or English qualification and are unsure whether you are eligible to enrol onto a course, please come along to one of our information sessions and chat to the tutor who will check this with you.
