Course overview

This course is intended for people who are interested in understanding children's behavioural development.  Through a supportive and informative approach it is hoped you will feel more confident interacting with your child as they grow.  At the end of the course, you will know more about;

 How children think and what makes them tick

Building a toolbox of strategies to work with your child

Offer support to parents by encouraging a peer atmosphere of sharing techniques

Build a really positive parent/child relationship by learning how to stay calm and relaxed and happy


Session details

Please let Charmaine Townsend know if you are interested in this course, she will put your name on the list,  and then come along to the first session, you will need to be able to commit to the full 6 weeks.  Please bring some form of identity with you on the first day. There will be a free creche subject to demand if you have a pre-school child.

Eligibility criteria

This course is primarily available to parents whose Children attend Hadley Learning Community Primary School, however the Head may be  willing to accept parents from the local community if there are spaces on the course.  If you do not have a child at the school and wish to attend this course, please contact Telford and Wrekin Council to see if there are spare places and you will be able to put your name on a waiting list.  Tel 01952 382888
