Course overview

This new course is for adults who already speak some English, as a second language and would like to practice and improve their confidence in English speaking skills to help with day to day situations, for example to buy shopping, to find work and explain about their health.

During this course, you will talk about about health and illness, understand doctors instructions, make appointments on the phone and understand hospital letters.

This course also offers you the next steps to help you progress onto an ESOL course that offers a qualification - details will be provided by the tutor on the course.

Learners will learn in a fun and relaxed environment with an experienced tutor.

Session details

It can be difficult to make the first step into something new, therefore on the first day of the course, the tutor will welcome you and provide further information and details about anything else you will need to bring for the first session.

Places are limited and registering your interest and attending the information session does not guarantee a place on the course.

Eligibility criteria

Learners must be aged 19 or over from 1st August 2021

Unfortunately you will not be eligible to enrol on this course if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull or Birmingham.
