Course overview

This course is intended to provide you with a deeper understanding of how different foods could affect how you feel and your moods. You will experience tasting some different foods and looking at its nutritional value, for example:

  • to help you increase energy levels
  • to help you relax and get a good night sleep
  • to give you that feel good factor
  • to feel and create calm

The sessions will allow you to practice new techniques and skills in a controlled and supportive environment. Learners with any special needs can discuss these with the tutor at enrolment to ensure that the course is suitable or can be adapted for their needs.

Please note that places on this session are limited and registering your interest does not guarantee a place.

Session details

It can be difficult to make the first step into something new, therefore the tutor will contact you before the start of the course, and provide you with further information and details about anything else you will need to bring for the first session.

As part of this wellbeing course, you will also take part in other activities aimed at helping you to develop a better understanding of your mental health.

Places are limited and registering your interest and attending the information session does not guarantee a place on the course.

Eligibility criteria

Learners must be aged 19 or over from 1st August 2021

Unfortunately you will not be eligible to enrol on this course if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Solihull or Birmingham.
