This accredited course is intended as a first step for people who want to volunteer or are interested to work as a Mentor. The course will offer you an opportunity to gain a Level 1 Award in Mentoring Skills for Working with Young People (AIM Qualification). This course would also be suitable to support mentoring for adults and young people. If you have already achieved the qualification from AIM Level 1 Award in Mentoring Skills for Working with Young People, you will not be eligible to join this course.
Note: No class on 28th January 2026
As this is an accredited level 1 course, at the start of the session the tutor will ask you to complete a short assessment to ensure that the course is appropriate for you. Due to the course content, you will need a sufficient understanding of English to complete this qualification.
