This accredited course is intended for learners who have completed the Level 1 in Craft & Enterprise course and want to continue their learning by progressing to a Level 2 Award in Craft & Enterprise.
On this course, you will explore how to develop your skills further in drawing and painting and experiment using a variety of art and paint materials, and gain confidence to create some beautiful pieces of artwork, to give as gifts for special occasions or use for your home. You will also learn some enterprise skills and contribute to an project to make and sell craft pieces.
During the course you will produce artwork and complete a written portfolio of work towards the Level 2 Award in Skills for Living and Work - Craft Pathway (AIM Qualifications).If you have already achieved the qualification from Open College Network West Midlands or AIM Level 2 Award in Craft Design or Level 2 in Craft and Enterprise you will not be eligible to join this course.
This course is for women who have children who attend Short Wood Primary School.
This course is for parents who do not have English as a first language. You will learn English in a fun and relaxed environment with an experienced tutor.
