Our functional skills courses are offered across Telford in community venues (listed below). We run morning and afternoon sessions during school term time only. We run one English course online on a Wednesday evening. Courses are offered at different levels and provide an opportunity to work towards a City and Guilds qualification in Functional Skills English and Maths. Our courses are intended for people aged 19+ who do not already have a Level 2 qualification in English or Maths and wish to gain a qualification in functional skills.
To book on a course please register your interest. The course tutor will contact you about attending the course. If you have certificates for any English or Maths qualifications already, please bring them with you to the first session. At this session you will be asked to complete a short assessment, please bring ID with you. Following completion of the assessment you may be offered a course at a different level, which may be held at a different time or venue than the one you have registered for.
